1 ¼ cups Coconut milk
1 cup Spinach (fresh or frozen)
½ Ripe avocado, peeled and pitted and cut into chunks
1 ¼ cups Berries of choice (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, etc., fresh or frozen)
½ Lemon: zested, seeded and juiced
1 tablespoon Raw honey or your choice of sweetener
2 tablespoons Chia seeds
2 ½ teaspoons Cinnamon powder
Combine all ingredients along with the lemon zest (provides detoxifying qualities from the oils in the rind) in a blender and blend until texture is smooth. Add the chia seeds in last so they do not get stuck at the bottom of the blender.
Add additional coconut milk or water if mixture is too thick. You can also try this recipe with cashew or almond milk instead of coconut milk.
